Pumpkin Floral Arrangement
Every fall I make a pumpkin floral arrangement. It’s so unique and the perfect dinner party centerpiece, or gift to a friend.
It’s honestly pretty fool proof if you use large mums and a variety of greenery. Don’t overthink it! I used a small, squatty pumpkin with a muted orange hue. I chose large rust & dark purple mums, and tons(!!) of greenery and filler pieces.
I always cut the pumpkin and remove all guts and seeds. After removing the insides, I use a paper towel to pat the inside dry. I use a wet foam block, cut it to size, and place inside the pumpkin. This is what I will stick all the flowers into.
I start by placing some of the larger mums and make sure they are evenly spaced throughout the arrangement. Make sure to constantly turn your arrangement to ensure you don’t have any holes. I love to add some taller filler pieces to give an asymmetrical shape. It makes the arrangement more interesting to look at. Use your greenery and smaller flowers to fill in all your holes!
