A Simple Thanksgiving Tablescape
Hosting Thanksgiving is a lot, so I created a simple Thanksgiving tablescape as inspiration for your event!
I’m not hosting the Thanksgiving family dinner this year, but I am in charge of setting the table. For Thanksgiving there’s usually at least 10 adults, so with all the plates, glasses, and flatware, creating a simple tablescape is best. I used a clean & neutral linen tablecloth from Ikea- they have the best budget friendly tablecloths! We already own these beautiful brown stoneware plates, that pop against the light color of the tablecloth. They are also budget friendly, if you’re in the market for new dinnerware! I used gold flatware instead of silver to keep on theme with the warm and moody vibe. Since everything else was pretty neutral, I wanted the napkins to have more of a pop of color. I found these napkins at Anthropologie, and love the burnt orange hue!
Since it is Thanksgiving, I thought it would be fun to bring some natural elements to the tablescape. I used dehydrated oranges and dried eucalyptus to create a runner down the center of the table. Since this table was just four place settings, I used two candlesticks, at different heights to create an asymmetrical centerpiece. The candleholders are thrifted, but I used these dripless candles to create the mood without the mess! I added these mini pumpkins from Hobby Lobby on top of the place setting. These are so cute, and would be super easy to add the name of each of your guest to create an assigned place setting.
I hope you found some inspiration through this post!
